The Detailed Itinerary – 10 Days Uganda gorilla tour
Day 1: Pick up & Travel to a Hotel (Entebbe)
On arrival at Entebbe Airport, meet a guide from Rivo Safaris Ltd to be safely transferred to a pre-booked boutique hotel in Entebbe City. At the hotel, our company representative will walk you through the 10-Day Uganda Gorilla Tour.

Day 2: Entebbe to magnificent Murchison Falls NP, enjoy Ziwa rhino trek
Enjoy a hefty breakfast, and after, you will be picked up from the hotel in Entebbe by a Rivo Safaris Ltd guide. Transfer by road to Murchison Falls National Park along the Kampala-Gulu highway, and this is likely to cover between 6 and 7 hours. Expect to make a stopover at the Ziwa Sanctuary for rhino trekking and later, have lunch at the Kabalega Dinners before you head off to Murchison.

Day 3: Game drive with boat tours (Murchison Falls National Park)
Embark on a game drive through the Northern circuit, and in 2-3 hours of game viewing, you will be able to spot a diversity of animals like the Uganda Kobs, warthogs, giraffes, leopards, lions, and many bird species. After the game drive, you will have lunch and end the day with the Victoria Nile boat cruise tour. The exciting boat excursion offers amazing sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale by road on the Hoima-Fort Portal route
Set off from your lodge on the Northern circuit and proceed to the top of the falls for photography. After, depart from Murchison Falls National Park for Kibale, driving through the Fort Portal route. At Fort Portal, expect to enjoy an en route lunch break before you reach Kibale National Park to check into your respective lodges.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking with Bigodi wetland tour
Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the lodge, and after, you will be picked up by Rivo Safaris Ltd driver guide. Visit the Kanyanchu tourist centre for a briefing about rules and regulations for chimpanzee trekking. Also, have a ranger guide to lead you, and expect to spend about 2-4 hours during the morning chimpanzee trek. An hour is also availed to you for photographing chimpanzees and witnessing how they bond, gesture, bond, and more.
Return and continue to you for lunch, then go explore Bigodi Sanctuary. At Bigodi, expect to go on a guided nature walk for to find more primates, including blue monkeys, red-colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and others.

Day 6: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth via Kikorongo, Boat tour
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, and what you should expect is the Equator crossing at the Kikorongo. Continue to have lunch in the lodge, and later, you proceed for a boat cruise where you search for hippos, crocodiles, and birds.

Day 7: Game drives (Kasenyi & Ishasha) & drive to Bwindi
Enjoy an early morning game drive along Kasenyi plains and expect to find diversity of savanna animals. The animals to encounter on Kasenyi track range from elephants, buffaloes, kobs, waterbucks, and warthogs etc. Return from the 2-hour Kasenyi plains and have lunch. After lunch, check out and you head towards the Bwindi accessing through Ishasha and here, expect to have great time to search the tree climbing lions.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking with Bwindi ranger guide & Batwa
Go gorilla trekking and today, expect to start the search from Buhoma sector. Trekking with Buhoma gorilla families takes about 2-6 hours which covers an hour with gorillas while taking their pictures. You will return from gorilla interaction, get the gorilla certificate and later, continue to the hotel for relaxation. The afternoon session at the Bwindi National Park involves visiting the Batwa, explore more about the Batwa pygmies.

Day 9: Bwindi to Lake Mburo (Uganda)
Visit Lake Mburo and expect to set off early. Arrive at Lake Mburo National Park for lunch break and later, continue with the boat excursion with a guide. Explore several of aquatic species on Lake Mburo. Get to watch lots of hippos, crocodiles, and birds –aquatic species.

Day 10: Depart for Entebbe via Masaka
